Period high and low are intraday extremes from NEPSE's daily bars across 3 months (the default window). Distances are measured from the last traded price. Period % is adjusted for bonus and right issues, so ex-dates don't show up as a crash. Debentures, mutual funds and promoter shares are excluded.
NEPSE period high and low, on your own timeframe
Most Nepali market sites publish a fixed 52-week high and low. That single window answers one question — where a share sits against the last year — but it says nothing about the swing a trader is actually in. This scanner lets you pick the window: 1 Month, 2 Months, 3 Months, 1 Year, or any custom start and end date. The high, the low, the distances and the range position all recompute against the dates you chose.
Across the current 61-session window (2026-07-16 to 2026-10-16), 39 scrips are trading within 3% of their period high and 33 are within 3% of their period low. Stocks pressing against the top of their range are the ones breakout traders watch; stocks pinned to the bottom are where value and reversal hunters look first.
How to read each column
- LTP and Chg % — the most recent close inside the window and that session's own percentage move, so you can see whether the stock is moving today.
- Period High / Low — the highest and lowest intraday prices printed inside the window. Hover either value to see the date it was set.
- From High — how far below the period high the last price sits. A value at or near 0% means the stock is making a fresh period high right now.
- From Low — how far the price has recovered above the period low. Small values mean the stock is still sitting on its floor.
- Range — position between low (0) and high (100), which makes a Rs 200 scrip and a Rs 4,000 scrip directly comparable.
- Period % — the whole window's price change, adjusted for bonus and right issues.
- Avg Turnover — the liquidity check. A stock near its high on Rs 2 lakh a day is a very different proposition from one doing Rs 5 crore a day.
Where the data comes from
Every figure is computed from NEPSE's official daily bars — open, high, low, close, volume and turnover for each traded session — held back to 1997. Nothing is estimated. The scanner refreshes after each trading day's sync, so the window always ends on the latest completed session. Debentures, mutual funds and promoter-share listings are excluded because their thin, sporadic trading produces high–low distances that mean nothing.

What is a 52 week high and low on NEPSE?
The 52-week high is the highest price a NEPSE stock has traded at over the past year, and the 52-week low is the lowest. They mark the boundaries of the last year of trading, so investors use them to judge whether a share is trading near the top of its range, near the bottom, or somewhere in between. On this scanner, choose the 1 Year period to get exactly that — or pick 1, 2 or 3 months for a shorter swing view.
How do I find NEPSE stocks near their 52 week high?
Set the period to 1 Year, then set the proximity filter to "Near period high" and choose a distance such as 3%. The scanner returns only the stocks whose last traded price is within 3% of the highest price they reached in the last year. Switch the filter to "Near period low" to find shares sitting close to their yearly bottom instead.
What does the Range column mean?
Range shows where the last traded price sits between the period low (0) and the period high (100). A stock at 95 is trading near the top of its range; one at 5 is near the bottom. It is the fastest way to compare shares with very different price levels, because it removes the rupee value from the comparison.

Does the scanner adjust for bonus and right shares?
The Period % column does. It chains each day's return using NEPSE's ex-adjusted previous close and skips days whose move falls outside the circuit band, so a bonus or right issue does not show up as a fake crash. The period high and low columns themselves are the raw traded prices from the daily bars, exactly as they printed on the day.
