About the NEPSE calendar
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) trades Monday through Friday; Saturday and Sunday are weekly closures. (Until April 2026 the week ran Sunday through Thursday, with Friday and Saturday shut, and older months show it that way.) Beyond the weekend, NEPSE additionally observes every Nepal Government public holiday — Dashain, Tihar, Chhath, Constitution Day and dozens of regional festivals — plus its own market-administrative closures.
