Although NEPSE is largely driven by domestic factors — interest rates, IPO supply, sector announcements — global risk sentiment still leaks in through Indian markets, foreign-currency flows and remittance trends. A sharp move on the Dow Jones or Nifty 50 often shows up the next day on NEPSE's open.
