LTP stands for Last Traded Price — the price at which the most recent trade in a share was executed. On NEPSE it changes with every trade during 11:00–15:00 and is the price you see on live boards.
Biggest LTP moves today
LTP vs other prices
- Previous close — yesterday's closing price; the day's % change is measured from it.
- Open — the first trade of the day.
- High / Low — the highest and lowest trade so far today.
- LTP — the latest trade. After the market closes, the last LTP is the day's final price.
Why your order may not fill at the LTP
LTP is history — the last match, not a quote. Your limit order fills only if a seller (or buyer) is willing at your price. In a thinly traded share the LTP can be minutes old.
What is the full form of LTP?
Last Traded Price.
How much can LTP move in a day?
Most NEPSE shares are capped by a daily circuit limit around the previous close; when a share hits it, trading at a further price stops for the day.
